We are currently looking for:
- Apple Mac Technician (Hardware & Software)
We are have a part position available for another Apple Mac technician.
You will need to have at least 1 year experience with Apple Mac computers, ideally on the side of hardware, but extensive knowledge of the operation of Mac OS X 10.4 and above will suffice (ideally 10.6), provide you have a passion for the hardware side. This experience is mandatory, and we can't hire anyone who doesn't have this experience, as we already have plenty of offers for non-experienced people.
Pay rates will vary with experience level. You will provided with full internal training, but it's really important you already have a good working knowledge of Apple computers, and a passion for Apple products in general.
Other tasks will include talking with clients in-store, and assistance with shop duties. Ideally you would be able to discuss and promote Apple products and software in-store and show clients how to use. For this reason, you will need to have clear English speaking ability, especially as you will also need to answer the phone, and to explain your work to your clients.
Hours will vary between 20 & 45 hours per week, currently from 9am to 6pm weekdays, and 10am to 4pm on weekends (but extended hours planned).

We are have part time positions available at our Ponsonby Road retail store.
Duties will primarily involve answering phone calls and customer enquries in-store, regarding product enquiries and about booking in service jobs. Other tasks will include stock entry, stock labelling, and general assistance with shop duties such as cleaning, opening/closing, and other tasks required by our Apple Authorised Service Centre technicians.
You will need to (eventually) talk confidently with clients about Apple products, and solutions that will suit them. You will also be able to discuss various other in-store products such as power adapters, iPod/iPhone accessories, and even ink cartridges.
No experience is necessary, BUT you MUST have a passion for Apple products, and for technology products in general. If you don't, please don't apply, as you will be wasting your time and ours.
Pay rates will vary with experience level. You will be provided with full internal training, but truly is important that you have passion for technology.
All candidates must be available to work weekends, at least Saturday or Sunday, but ideally both. Week days you should be available to work until at least 8pm in the evenings, though this will not be required every day.
